Where is Your Focus?

Success is hard to achieve! If it weren’t you probably would be already. If this fact discourages you, then you don’t have what it takes to be successful, and you may as well stop trying. Success is not easy but many people achieve it everyday. They do it through sheer focus.

Where is your focus? Sometimes I say your focus ison what you are doing, but this is not true. Most people have no focus because they have no purpose or are simply unable to remain focused long enough to achieve anything. They go through life aimlessly, and die, having only witness other people live.

Where is Your Focus?

It takes a great deal of focus, on a long period of time, to achieve anything worthwhile. If you are building a business, your success will depend on he amount of concentration you have on your goals and how long you keep it there.

So how do you create and maintain focus on your goals?

• First, you must create a burning desire for what you what you wish to focus on.
• Then that burning desire will give you the amount of focus you need to get started
• Use that focus to concentrate on the burning desire and intensify it.
• As the intensity of your desire increase, it will feed you your focus
• Before you know it, your desire will take a life on its own and keep you focused where you need to be

Without a burning and growing desire, you will never achieve total focus. Unfortunately desire does not live on its own; it must be courted, wheedled, cajoled, and constantly nurtured to survive.

Napoleon Hill in his classic think and Grow Rich, mentions a burning desire as the starting point of all great achievement. It is your job to harness one and then focus on it. Without pure focus on what you want to achieve, you are simply daydreaming.
