The best part in Network Marketing is that if you work at home from your bedroom, you don’t even have to dress and you can still be successful. But since most of us are not so fortunate as to work all the time 3 feet from their bed, how do you dress for success in Network Marketing?

Personally, I would like to wear the latest fashionable red dress everywhere I go. Unfortunately, just as every meal require its own ingredients, in Network marketing, where you are going determines the way you dress

The first thing the network marketer learns is that everywhere he or she goes there is an opportunity to present. The way you dress, however can inhibit your success. Most people are visual and could find themselves more concerned about what you are wearing or how you are wearing it, than about what you are saying.

Worse, although no one condones it, we all do it; people judge you on your appearance. If you are trying to build relationships with people, the way you dress counts. Now let’s examine how you can dress for success depending on the circumstances.

If you are going to a business meeting in a hotel conference, dress professionally to convey the seriousness of the meeting.
If you are going to a house party, dress casually; no one likes to be a around an uptight lawyer when they are trying to relax. They also want to feel safe so don’t look like a thug.
If you are talking to a stranger in the street, you will have no choice but to be dressed according to your main destination. Keep in mind you will be highly judged on your appearance so always dress in a way that inspires trust.
If you are working on the phone on your bed, you can even undress for success; just make sure your mind is in the right place and don’t go telling your prospect.

Dressing for success in network marketing is important because you are talking to a lot of strangers who will judge you on their first impression based on your appearance. The more you are aware of that fact, the better your chances to initiate a relationship.
