How Can I Figure Out the Puzzle Pieces of Network Marketing?

Joanne looked at her back office on the screen of her computer, frustrated. It has been six month since she joined her Network Marketing organization and several thousands dollars later, she had not made a dime.

She had done a lot of things, everything she had been told, and even more, all that to no avail. It just did not make sense; she was still feeling that she had no idea what she was doing. And even worse, she felt that the people she was following did not know what they were doing either.

“How can I figure out the puzzle pieces of Network Marketing?” Joanne wondered, sitting at her desk in quiet despair. You might be in the same situation as Joanne, wondering how you can make sense of this business called network marketing. Figuring out the pieces of the puzzle is not easy, but it can be more simple if you know what you are looking for.

The foundation of the Network Marketing puzzle has two pieces: income and impact. Each is the beginning and the end of your puzzle. Figuring out the puzzle begins with understanding that you cannot have one without the other.

How Can I Figure Out the Puzzle Pieces of Network Marketing?

Let’s start with income; most people come into Network Marketing to earn a lot of money. These people generally go around, talking to everyone at every opportunity and in any way, hoping to make a quick dollar. And since they play the numbers game, they figure all they have to do is keep talking and eventually they’ll hit the magic number. They do this until they burn out with no results.

If we look at impact, some other Network marketers just want to help people, and that’s all they want to do. And so they go around, trying to convince people that they need help, and keep talking to the same people over and over, until those people no longer want to talk to them. They end up depressed not understanding why people don’t want to be helped.

Putting the pieces of the puzzle together is balancing both; you cannot have income without impact and you cannot have impact without income. What impact do you want to have in people’s life to deserve the income you want and what will it take to have that impact?
