You are working your Network Marketing business. You are handling paper work, checking your back office, visualizing. You have a calculator in hand and everyday you go through the compensation plan to see how much you could make.

You show up at every meeting and you are on all conference calls. You talk tonew distributors to find out how and why they joined. You are looking for ideas and reading a lot. You are visiting numerous websites online and downloading several audios and e-books to learn.

You are doing a lot of good things, but are you doing the right thing? To be successful it is not enough to be doing things; you must make sure that the actions you are taking will give you the results you seek.

Most people in Network marketing are engaged in many things. They are forever planning the plan. They generate many ideas everyday on how to take their business to the next level. They usually come up with great ideas, but seldom execute those ideas.

Are You Doing The Right Thing?

Is what you are doing right now the right thing to do to take your business to that next level? The 80/20 rule states that 80% of your results will come from 20% of your activities. They are only few things that you need to do everyday to ensure success.

• Meet new people and get their contact information
• Find a way to be relevant to their life so that you can build a relationship with them
• Learn more about their needs to see if your opportunity can serve that need
• Introduce them to what you do and how you do it
• Ask for referrals

Unless you are busy performing these few tasks, you are not building your business. It is easy to be busy doing the wrong things. “There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all,” says Peter Drucker. Make sure what you are doing is the right thing to do.
